Srinagar, Nov 18: Prominent Kashmiri dermatologist Dr. Mir Shahnawaz, who is the Founder and Director of DERMIS Skin Laser & Hair Transplant Centre, Bemina, Srinagar, has been appointed as the National Vice President of the Face Aesthetics Dermatology Society (FADS).
The announcement was made during the national aesthetic meeting held from 14th to 16th November 2025 in Goa, a statement, issued by the dermatologist’s office said.
It said the event brought together leading dermatologists and plastic surgeons from across India, creating a dynamic environment for scientific exchange and advanced learning.
The conference was held under the capable leadership of Dr. T. A. Rana, whose chairmanship ensured smooth coordination and academic depth. Adding further prestige to the gathering was Chief Guest Dr. P. K. Talwar, one of India’s most respected and senior Plastic Surgeons.
“Dr. Shahnawaz conducted highly engaging hands-on training sessions on Exosomes, advanced Dermal Filler techniques, and precision-driven Botox procedures. Young dermatologists praised the workshops for their clarity, practical orientation, and enriching clinical insights,” read the statement.
The two-day aesthetic conclave concluded successfully, earning widespread appreciation for its scientific value, hands-on opportunities, and collaborative spirit—marking another milestone in the growth of aesthetic medicine in India.
