KPDCL announces power shutdown in Kashmir parts

Srinagar, Nov 12: According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, power shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-SIDCO line will be observed due to which IE Khrew, Wuyen, Dedicated Installations and Cement Plants receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to  IE Khrew, Wuyan and Cement Plants and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 16, November, 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Pampore-Pulwama line will be observed due to which Kakapora, Newa, LIS 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Kakapora, Newa, Pahoo, Nehama, Zadoora, Gudora, Parigam and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on 16 & 19 November, 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Lassipora-Pulwama line will be observed due to which Pulwama, Tenghar & Pinglina receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Pulwama Town, Tenghar, Tahab, Machpuna, Gangoo, Wagum, Babhar, Pinglina and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on 15, 18, 22 & 25 November, 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Pinglena-Tenghar tapline of 33 KV Lassipora-Pulwama line will be observed due to which Tenghar, Pinglina, Covid hospital and Flour Mill receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Tenghar, Koil, Pinglina, Gangoo, Gundipora and adjoining areas will be affected from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM on 14 November, 2025.

Furthermore, shutdown of 140 MVA Grid Station Cheshmashahi will be affected due to which Centaur, Brane, Nishat, Dalband, Shalimar, BB Cant, TRC, Nedous, and Buchwara receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Centaur, Brane, Nishat, Dalband, Shalimar, BB Cant, TRC, Nedous, Buchwara and adjoining areas will be affected from 09:00 AM to 04:30 PM on 13 November, 2025.
