Srinagar, Jul 20: The Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh UT, Kavinder Gupta, Sunday met former LG of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd.) at his residence in New Delhi.
Sources said that during the cordial meeting, Lt Governor Kavinder Gupta greeted the former LG for his birthday and extended his warm wishes for his good health and long life.
He also acknowledged the commendable efforts and dedicated service of Brig Mishra during his tenure as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh. He appreciated the groundwork laid by the former LG in strengthening governance, promoting development, and upholding the unique cultural and environmental ethos of the region.
Both leaders shared insights on key administrative priorities and the way forward for Ladakh’s progress. The Lt Governor expressed his gratitude for the valuable contributions of Brigadier Mishra and sought his continued guidance and support in the service of the Union.
