Poonch, Nov 05: In a tragic incident, a lightning strike in the Sangar Dhoke area near Soliyan, Poonch, resulted in the death of nearly 40 sheep and goats, officials said.
An official said the incident occurred late Tuesday night, causing significant losses to Khalid Hussain, a resident of Hadi Bari Baik, belonging to the Bakarwal community.
An assessment of the damage is underway while cognizance of the incident has been taken. (KNC)
