Mascot unveiled for 3rd Asian Pencak Silat Championship in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 25: The mascot for the 3rd Junior Asian Pencak Silat Championship was officially unveiled on Thursday in Srinagar, setting the stage for one of Asia’s most exciting martial arts events.

As per an official statement, the championship will be held from September 25 to 30, 2025, bringing together young athletes from across 11 countries.

The unveiling ceremony was presided over by Secretary of the J&K Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul, who also released the trophies for the upcoming tournament. The Chief Sports Officer, Divisional Sports Officer, and Chief Coach were also present on the occasion.

The grand inauguration ceremony of the championship will take place on September 26 at the Sher I Kashmir Indoor Sports Complex, Srinagar. The opening ceremony shall be graced by the Chief Minister of J&K, Omar Abdullah, and the Union Minister of Sports, Satish Sharma, along with other distinguished dignitaries.
