Sopore, Dec 19: A youth convention for the Sopore block of the National Conference was held today, with Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) Irshad Rasool Kar as the chief guest.
Highlighting Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s efforts to empower youth as agents of change, MLA Kar reiterated his party’s commitment to creating an enabling environment for the youth of the state, especially in his Sopore Constituency, so they may realize their full potential.
He stated that the party would engage extensively with the youth to address the issues they face. Such conventions, he added, would continue to provide a secure and effective platform for young people to contribute to the development and betterment of their constituency.
MLA Kar emphasised that youth can play a vital role in strengthening the party at the grassroots level, which in turn will bring developmental progress to the people.
He described the youth as the bright future of tomorrow and expressed his enthusiasm at seeing young minds actively shaping their destinies. Together, he added, efforts will be intensified for the welfare and development of the Sopore constituency.
