Jammu, Aug 7: Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Dr Tahir Chowdhary has accused the National Conference (NC)-led government in Jammu and Kashmir of having “failed to deliver on its electoral promises and resort to a political blame game to cover its inefficiency.”
Reacting to Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Chowdhary’s recent statement in which he blamed Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for alleged interference in governance, Tahir Chowdhary said the remarks reflected the internal breakdown of administrative functioning within the Omar Abdullah-led government.
“The Deputy Chief Minister’s public outburst against the LG is not just irresponsible—it reveals the confusion, lack of direction, and infighting within the ruling alliance,” he said.
The BJP spokesperson alleged that rather than taking accountability for their failures, the NC-led government was now attempting to shift the burden onto constitutional authorities.
“This government was voted into power with the promise of change, efficiency, and progress. But what we are witnessing is an administration paralysed by indecision and driven by political compulsions,” he said.
