New Delhi, Jun 25: Congress President has approved the appointment of Shri Bharat Priye as the new Chairman of the Kisan Congress, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (J&K PCC).
The decision came into immediate effect, as per an official press release issued by K C Venugopal, General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC). Shri Bharat Priye, a dedicated grassroots leader and advocate for farmers’ rights, will now lead the party’s farmers’ wing in the Jammu and Kashmir region.
His appointment is seen as part of the Congress party’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its farmer-centric outreach and organisational structure in the Union Territory.
