Srinagar, July 06: The intense heatwave in Kashmir has shattered centuries-old records this season with Srinagar boiling at the top. The capital city at 25.2°C has yet broken yet another record today by experiencing highest minimum temperature in July.

According to Kashmir Weather, “At 25.2°C, Srinagar today has recorded the all-time highest minimum temperature in July”

The previous record, recorded on 21 July 1988 also stands at 25.2°C and the second highest record stands at 24.8°C recorded on 29 July 2024.

Interestingly, 2022, 2024, and now 2025 are among the warmest Julys – dominating the charts.
