Jammu, Sep 27: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Saturday hit out at BJP for, what it alleged, “its total failure to deal with the situation in Leh.”
It blamed the central government for “pushing the Ladakhis to the wall during five years of peaceful Satyagreh” and condemned, what the party alleged, “the illegal arrest of Sonam Wangchuk, a world-renowned environmentalist. Addressing a press conference, JKPCC working president Raman Bhalla and chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma extended support to the “Ladakhis’ legitimate demands through peaceful non-violent modes,” saying the arrest of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk was “unfortuante.”
They also condemned the killing of four youth and injuries to 89 others.
