Srinagar, Aug 31: The JK Obesity Summit also marked the second anniversary of the Moul Mouj Foundation. On this occasion, Moul Mouj Signature Lecture Mouj Special was delivered by Dr Tajammul Hussain and Ali Jan Oration was delivered by Dr Maria Banas.
It was also commemorated through the release of the Foundation’s impact report, along with felicitations and a book release. Founded with a focus on healthcare and community-oriented initiatives, the first of its kind foundation used its second annual conference to bring together clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals from across disciplines.
The MMFDiacon-2026 conference was conceived as an interdisciplinary platform. This year’s edition placed obesity, the escalating crisis in India, at its centre.
The Foundation’s second anniversary programme included the release of its MMF Impact Report. It also featured felicitation of distinguished personalities and a book release authored by Dr Nasir Shamas.
