Srinagar, Oct 3: A 50-year-old woman from Drubgam area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama died on Friday after falling from the second floor of her house.
An official said the deceased has been identified as Parveen, wife of Ghulam Mahidin, resident of Drubgam Pulwama.
She was initially shifted to District Hospital Pulwama in critical condition and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment, official said.
However, doctors at SMHS declared her brought dead, the official said.
Reports said that Parveen accidentally fell from the second storey of their residence.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (KNC)
