Srinagar, Aug 13: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporatioin Limited (KPDCL) today announced power shutdown in several areas of Kashmir divsion in coming days.
In a statement issued, Chief Engineer Distribution, KPDCL said that the shutdown of 33 KV Kanir Tapline will be observed due to which power supply to Barwah, Nowpora, Kralwari Zoohama, Kanir, Hushroo, Hanjoora, Kheerigund, Chanagund, Dadaompora and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 17 & 20 August 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Amargarh SIDCO line will be observed due to which power supply to Seer, Chackloo, Rohama, Ladoora and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 17 August 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Arampora Handwara Old line will be observed due to which power supply to Zachaldara, Wadipora, Changimulla, Qalmabad and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 19 & 22 August 2026.
Further, shutdown of 33 KV Arampora Handwara Hot line will be observed due to which power supply to Handwara Town, Marathgam, Kulangam, Kandi, Sagipora, Chogal and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 18 & 21 August 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of Receiving Station Kremshore will be observed due to which power supply to Old Kremshore, Arigam, Nunner, Shamsabad, Dreygam, Arampora, Parnewa, Essential and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 17 August 2026.
Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV HMT line and 33 KV Shariefabad Narbal line will be observed due to which power supply to HMT, Bakshipora, Zainakote, Mustafabad, Umerabad, Hagibagh, Narbal, Kawoosa, Lawaypora, Suzaith, Sanoor, Malpora, Redbugh, Railway Station Mazhama and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 01 PM on 18 August 2026.
Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Wanpoh-Ashajipora Malaknag DC line will be observed due to which power supply to Ashajipora, Dialgam, Rohu, Malaknag, Reshibazar, Janglat Mandi, Shirpora, Nowgam and adjoining areas will be affected from 08 AM to 02 PM on 17, 20 & 24 August 2026.
