Srinagar, Sep 28: National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Sunday said Kashmir and India were undergoing change, asserting that a “new transformation” was on the way.
Asked how he viewed a changing Kashmir, Abdullah said, “Kashmir is changing. Hindustan is changing. A new transformation is going to come, Inshallah.”
Asked about the controversy surrounding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR), Abdullah appeared to brush aside the political question and urged the media to look beyond politics.
“Are you on music or are you in politics? You are never free from politics,” he said, before adding, “For God’s sake, sometimes put politics aside as well.”
Abdullah was then asked another question, to which he responded, “Yes.”
