Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh, will organise a Blood Donation Camp on September 9 at the Aryans Campus. The initiative, as per a statement, is aimed at encouraging voluntary blood donation among students, faculty and staff and creating greater awareness about the life-saving importance of blood donation.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group, said that the initiative is intended to promote the spirit of voluntary blood donation and sensitise the younger generation towards the importance of maintaining adequate blood availability for patients requiring emergency treatment, surgeries and other critical medical care.
He further stated that a single blood donation can become a valuable contribution towards saving lives.
The Aryans Group has been actively organising blood donation camps since its establishment, making it a consistent part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and community welfare initiatives for the past 20 years. Over the years, these camps have encouraged the college community to come forward and contribute towards meeting the critical demand for blood in hospitals and emergency situations.
