Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH) is perhaps the more rewarding of many other options after NEET. It offers opportunities in the fields of animal health, livestock management and public health. Veterinarians find employment in government animal husbandry departments, dairy and poultry industries. In addition, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions and wildlife conservation also look for BVSc graduates. In J&K, like in most states of India, graduates are often allowed to practice in allopathic hospitals and government AYUSH services and wellness centres. J&K has AYUSH College in Srinagar.
