Srinagar, Jan 14: Around 84.02 percent of students have qualified the Class 12 examination, the results of which will be declared by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) after 2 pm today.

An official said a total of 70,735 students from across Kashmir and the winter zones of the Jammu division appeared for the examinations, of whom 59,435 have successfully qualified.

Girls have outperformed boys in the Class 12 examination. The pass percentage for boys stands at 82 percent, while girls recorded a higher pass percentage of 86 percent.

Speaking to Greater Kashmir, JKBOSE Chairman Ghulam Hassan Sheikh said the results would be announced after 2 pm.

“All students should wait for the official declaration of the results, which will be made available on the same platforms as were used for the Class 10 results,” he said.

He also cautioned students against relying on fake links circulating on social media, including WhatsApp groups.

“Students must remain patient and trust only official sources, as the results will be formally declared after 2 pm,” he added.
