Srinagar, Sep 10: National Conference (NC) president Farooq Abdullah on Thursday hoped that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir will take advantage of the first International Film Festival held in the Union Territory to establish a Bollywood-like industry here.
“I believe this is a very wonderful thing that has happened. And I hope that our boys and girls will take advantage of this. From here, our own artists will emerge, writers will emerge, music directors will come up, and film directors will be made. Our youth will come forward in everything,” Abdullah told reporters.
When asked how much connection with Bollywood can be expected in the future, the three-time chief minister said, “I believe we ourselves will become Bollywood”.
