Ganderbal, Aug 11: The principal, staff, and students of Government Degree College, Ganderbal, on Monday extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Nazakat Ali Khatana, a student of batch 2024 (Roll No 242021, Registration No 17206-GBL-2024), who drowned to death on August 10, 2025, in Madhumati, Bandipora.
GDC Ganderbal Media Secretary in a statement issued here said, “In this moment of profound grief, we stand in solidarity with Nazakat’s family and pray to Almighty Allah to grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and grant his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
The statement said that Nazakat was a sincere, punctual, and dedicated student.
“His absence will be deeply felt by all of us,” it said.
