New Delhi, May 3: The Government of India has invited nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025, a national honour awarded annually by the President of India to recognise the exceptional achievements of children.
The deadline for submission is 31st July 2025, and all nominations must be submitted online at the official Rashtriya Puraskar Portal:
Children aged between 5 and 18 years (as of 31st July 2025) are eligible. Nominations can be made by individuals, institutions, or through self-nomination. To apply, users must first register on the portal with details such as name, date of birth, applicant type (individual/organisation), contact information, Aadhaar number, and CAPTCHA verification. After registration, applicants should select “Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025” under the “Ongoing Nominations” section and proceed to “Nominate/Apply Now.”
The nomination form requires: Nominee details, a brief write-up (up to 500 words) describing the achievement and its impact, supporting documents (PDFs, up to 10 files) and a recent photograph (in jpg/jpeg/png format). Applications can be saved as drafts, edited, and reviewed before final submission.
A downloadable copy will be available upon submission. The PMRBP recognises young achievers in six categories: Bravery, Social Service, Environment, Sports, Art & Culture, and Science & Technology. The award aims to celebrate outstanding contributions by children, promote real-life role models among peers, and foster an environment conducive to their holistic development.
