New Delhi, Jul 5: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Saturday praised India’s healthcare system as qualitative, accessible, and affordable, highlighting its transformation through improved infrastructure, inclusive services, and patient-centric approaches. He was speaking at the inauguration of the 7th Annual International Conference of the Innovative Physicians Forum – IPF MEDICON 2025 in New Delhi. Birla noted that India has made significant progress in digital health, affordable treatment, and medical outreach, and is emerging as a global hub for pharmaceuticals, vaccine production, and biomedical research.
