Srinagar, Jun 19: BJP Minority Front National President Jamal Siddiqui today said Islam is a religion of peace and Sufi sect its soul.
According to a press release he was addressing a gathering here. Siddiqui is on a two-day visit to attend the programs organised on the completion of 11 years of Modi government. He paid obeisance at Hazratbal and Dastagir Sahib (RA) shrines. He prayed to make India a world leader and developed India. During his stay in Srinagar, he also visited the Gurudwara.
A minority chaupal was also organised. Dialogue was held with sajjadanashins, sufis and intellectuals under the “Sufi Samvad” campaign.
