The J&K junior boys football team Thursday departed to represent the Union Territory at the Dr. B.C. Roy Trophy 2026-27, with the young players set to compete against some of the country’s top emerging football talent.
Issuing a statement, it said that months of preparation, countless training sessions and unwavering commitment have led to this moment. Now, it is time for our young footballers to test themselves against some of the country’s best emerging talent.
With every tackle, every pass and every goal, they will carry the J&K colours with pride, discipline and determination. “J&K Sports Council wishes our boys a successful campaign ahead,” the statement added.
