Srinagar, Nov 4: Kashmir-based fertility specialist Dr Syed Sajjad Hussain represented India at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) 2026 Annual Meeting held in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
Dr Hussain, Managing Director of MED AGE IVF Centre, Srinagar, and National Convenor of the Indian Fertility Society’s (IFS) Special Interest Group, participated in the international conference as part of the Indian medical delegation.
The annual meeting brought together fertility specialists, researchers and medical professionals from across the world to discuss emerging developments in in-vitro fertilisation (IVF), reproductive medicine, infertility treatment and advanced fertility technologies.
During the conference, Dr Hussain interacted with international experts, including Professor Alexander Quass, besides members of the global and Indian medical fraternity.
His participation provided an opportunity to exchange scientific knowledge, explore emerging technologies and gain insights into advances that could contribute to improving fertility treatment and services in J&K.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Hussain said international scientific platforms such as ASRM offered valuable opportunities for learning, professional collaboration and the exchange of ideas.
“It is a matter of pride to participate in such a prestigious global event as part of the Indian medical delegation. My aim is to bring the benefits of the latest developments in reproductive medicine to the people of Kashmir,” he said.
Dr Hussain has been associated with reproductive medicine through his clinical practice, academic engagement and role in the Indian Fertility Society. His participation at ASRM 2026 also highlights the presence of medical professionals from Jammu and Kashmir at international scientific forums.
He is the Managing Director of MED AGE IVF Centre, Srinagar, and National Convenor of the IFS Special Interest Group, with experience in IVF, clinical embryology and reproductive medicine.
