Srinagar, Sep 28: The Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League 2026 concluded with organisers expressing gratitude to the teams, players, sponsors, officials, media, volunteers and football fans whose support helped make the tournament a major football event in Kashmir.
As per a statement issued, the organisers expressed their sincere gratitude to all franchises, sponsors, media partners, players, officials, departments, volunteers, supporters and football lovers who contributed to making KSL-26 a memorable chapter for football in Kashmir.
“We gave our best, our time, our energy and our hearts to make KSL-26 a tournament that Kashmir could be proud of. Every player on the field, every cheer from the stands and every supporter who stood with us made the journey worthwhile,” the organisers said.
A special word of appreciation was extended to the Police Department for their support, cooperation and dedication throughout the tournament.
The organisers also thanked the media fraternity for providing extensive coverage and helping take the KSL-26 story to football followers across the region and beyond.
Acknowledging the contribution of those working behind the scenes. The organisers said that the league’s success was also the result of the efforts of volunteers, ground staff, operations teams, production teams, technical personnel and other support staff who worked tirelessly throughout the tournament. “We may have organised a league, but you all helped turn it into a movement,” the organisers said.
The organisers expressed their gratitude to the people of Kashmir for believing in the Kashmir Super League and standing behind the initiative.
“Thank you, Kashmir, for believing in KSL. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for making KSL-26 unforgettable. This is only the beginning. Together, we will continue building football in Kashmir,” the statement added.
