Tulmulla, June 22: PDP President Mehbooba Mufti visited the Kheer Bhawani Shrine at Tulmulla in Ganderbal and paid obeisance during the annual Kheer Bhawani Mela.
PDP President expressed happiness over the large participation of Kashmiri Pandit devotees at the Kheer Bhawani Mela, saying it was heartening to see many Kashmiri Pandit brothers and sisters visiting the revered shrine.
Speaking to reporters, Mehbooba Mufti said that, “I am very happy to see our Kashmiri Pandit brothers and sisters arriving here. They should look forward to the future and forget what happened in the past.
“I believe young Kashmiri Pandit doctors should come to Kashmir and connect with people here. Doctors like Dr Sameer Kaul, Dr Upendra Kaul and Dr Sushil Razdan should come to Kashmir and reconnect with its people.” Mehbooba Mufti said.
She further said that the J&K govt should provide them with facilities.
“Brotherhood should be maintained”, she said, adding that “those powers who want to leverage the difficulties faced by the Kashmiri Pandits should be sidelined.”
