With the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) remaining closed due to heavy rainfall, landslides and shooting stones, the Northern Railway has announced a special train service between Srinagar and Katra to facilitate the movement of stranded passengers.
According to railway officials, the special train has depart from Srinagar at 5:00 pm on Thursday and reach Katra at 8:15 pm. On the return journey, the train will leave Katra at 8:45 am on Friday and arrive in Srinagar at 11:50 am.
