New Delhi, Feb 07: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day working visit to the United States starting February 12, where he will hold discussions with President Donald Trump. The announcement was made by the Ministry of External Affairs on Friday.
During a press briefing, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri highlighted that the visit aims to strengthen and advance India-US bilateral ties.
Before traveling to the US, Modi will visit France from February 10 to 12, where he will co-chair the AI Action Summit alongside French President Emmanuel Macron.
Additionally, he is scheduled to visit Cadarache, home to the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, a project in which India is an active participant, Misri stated.
