Jammu, Jul 25: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) national executive member Indresh Kumar on Friday cautioned the youth participating in the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest against “disruptive forces within and outside the country” working behind it (protest) and see through their vicious designs.
“Generally, the people, organisations and political parties are named after the individuals who manifest virtues or named in a manner that imbue positivity. But I failed to comprehend the Cockroaches’ intention behind (opting for such a name). But the name, itself, depicts that they are not going to work for progress, education, harmony or peace but will only sow seeds of hatred and destruction in the country. The name, itself, suggests that neither they intend to do any good to the country nor will they allow anyone else. This is very unfortunate for the country,” RSS leader said, while responding to media queries on the sidelines of an event organised at Balidan Stambh, ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas wherein he paid tributes to the armed forces, Police personnel and the civilians who lost their lives in Kargil war.
“I caution the country and its people against such individuals and organisations, which are betraying the nation’s interests,” he said, responding to a question about CJP’s call for country-wide agitation on July 24.
Indresh Kumar also accused the political parties in the opposition of vitiating a positive atmosphere in the country by using the NEET issue to serve their political ends.
“I hope that the youth participating in the protests would have understood that behind the façade of the protests were the forces working within the country and outside it, which never wanted India to be developed, progressive, self-reliant and their aim was to destroy it only,” he maintained.
The RSS leader also appealed to the climate activist from Ladakh Sonam Wangchuk, who called off his hunger strike, to keep his agitation clear of foreign influence.
In response to a question about the recent killing of a police cop in Anantnag, he alleged that Pakistan had not stopped its policy to sponsor terrorism in India.
