Sanjay Aggarwal has been unanimously re-elected as Chairperson of the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), J&K, for the 2026-28 term at the federation’s 62nd Annual General Meeting held in New Delhi.
His re-election marks an unprecedented fourth consecutive term and reflects the confidence of the automobile dealer fraternity in his leadership.
Aggarwal, Founder and Managing Director of Jammu Motors Pvt Ltd, has around three decades of experience in the automobile sector. He has also served as Co-Chair of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Jammu Chapter and is associated with CII, Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Jammu Automobile Dealers Association.
During his previous terms, FADA J&K took up several issues affecting automobile dealers, including vehicle scrappage policy, used-car regulation, taxation, road tax exemptions for hybrid and CNG vehicles, green tax, trade certificates, EV charging infrastructure, parking, banking and finance, regulatory compliance and ease of doing business.
Under Aggarwal’s leadership, the association has also sought stronger coordination between automobile dealers, government departments, financial institutions and automobile manufacturers.
Speaking after his re-election, Aggarwal thanked members for their continued trust and support.
“I am deeply honoured and humbled by the confidence placed in me by the automobile dealer fraternity of J&K. This responsibility is not merely recognition of the work done in the past, but a renewed commitment to work even harder for the growth and welfare of the entire dealer community,” he said.
During his fourth term, he said FADA J&K would focus on ease of doing business, reducing regulatory challenges, digitalisation and transparency in government processes, and creating a sustainable business environment for automobile dealerships.
