Toyota Kirloskar Motor strengthens healthcare infrastructure at CHC Bidkin

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has strengthened healthcare infrastructure at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Bidkin, Paithan Block of Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district by supplying and installing essential medical equipment under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focused on health and hygiene.

The initiative is expected to directly benefit more than 70,000 people while supporting healthcare services for the wider population of approximately 3.8 lakh across Paithan Block, where government health facilities cater to growing demand for maternal, child and emergency healthcare.

The equipment provided includes a dental X-ray system with RVG, hematology analyser, surgical instrument sets, medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) set, hysterectomy set, tubal ligation (Minilap) set, obstetric labour table, shadowless operation lamp, diathermy machine, defibrillator, suction machine, multipara monitor, wheelchair, stretcher trolley, battery-operated otoscope and a hydraulic operation theatre table.

According to the company, the equipment has been selected to enhance diagnostic capabilities, strengthen maternal and surgical healthcare, and improve emergency response services at the health centre. The initiative is also expected to improve healthcare accessibility and treatment outcomes for residents in the region.

The equipment was formally handed over to the CHC authorities during a ceremony held on July 24. The handover was carried out by A. Ramesh Rao, Vice President, and Roshan R, General Manager, Toyota Kirloskar Motor.

Expressing gratitude for the support, Dr. Shaheen, Medical Officer at CHC Bidkin, said the new equipment would significantly improve the hospital’s diagnostic and treatment capabilities, particularly in maternal and emergency care.

“We deeply appreciate Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure in our region. The medical equipment supplied will significantly enhance our diagnostic and treatment capabilities, particularly in maternal and emergency care. This support strengthens our ability to serve the 3.8 lakh population across Paithan Block and deliver quality healthcare services to our community,” Dr. Shaheen said.
